How PDF page reordering works in the browser
Rearranging PDF pages on Love2PDF uses two open-source JavaScript libraries. PDF.js reads your document and renders a thumbnail of each page directly from your device memory — nothing is uploaded. You see a visual grid of page thumbnails showing the current order. Drag any thumbnail to a new position in the grid and the sequence updates instantly.
When you click to save, pdf-lib reads the new page sequence and assembles a fresh PDF document with the pages in the order you set. The new document is created in your browser and downloads directly to your device. Your original file is unchanged — the reordered document is a separate output.
