No. Love2PDF uses pdf-lib to combine files at the structural level — it copies pages directly without re-rendering them. Fonts, images, vector graphics, and embedded content are all preserved exactly as they were in the originals.
Browser-based merging is limited only by your device's available memory. In practice, merging twenty files totalling 200MB works without issues on any modern laptop or phone. Very large collections may run slower on older devices.

Bookmarks from individual files are not carried into the merged document — it starts with a flat page structure. Internal links within each document are preserved. This is a technical limitation of client-side PDF merging.
