Original size vs A4 — which page size to choose
Love2PDF offers two page sizing options when converting images to PDF.
Original size creates a PDF page that exactly matches the pixel dimensions of each image. A 2480 × 3508 pixel image (the pixel equivalent of A4 at 300 DPI) becomes a PDF page of that exact size. This is the right choice when pixel-perfect fidelity matters — preserving the exact dimensions of a scanned document, technical drawing, or design asset. Page sizes will vary if your images have different dimensions.
Fit to A4 scales each image to fill a standard A4 page (210 × 297mm). All pages in the output PDF will be the same size regardless of the original image dimensions. This is the right choice when you need a consistent, printable document — for example, converting a series of scanned receipts or photos into a uniform document for submission or filing.
If you are converting images that were originally scanned at A4 size, both options produce similar results. If your images have mixed dimensions or aspect ratios, Fit to A4 will produce a tidier document.
