About Love2PDF
PDF tools should not require a subscription, a desktop download, or handing your documents to a server you know nothing about. Love2PDF exists because we got tired of the alternative — paywalled tools that add watermarks, free tiers that upload your files to unknown servers, and desktop software that takes longer to open than the task takes to complete.
What we built
Love2PDF is a collection of free PDF tools that run directly in your browser. Merge, split, rotate, reorder, convert images, and add watermarks — all without your file ever leaving your device. For tools that genuinely require server processing (like compression, which needs Ghostscript), we built a pipeline that handles your file in memory and deletes it the moment your download completes. Nothing is written to disk. Nothing is stored.
Why it is free
The core tools are free and will stay free. We sustain the site through optional newsletter sign-ups from people who want PDF tips and updates, and eventually through a developer API for teams who need bulk processing at scale. If you use Love2PDF and find it useful, signing up with your email is the best way to support it. Love2PDF is a free alternative to expensive software like Adobe Acrobat — with no subscription required.
Who built it
Love2PDF is an independent project. It is not backed by venture capital, not owned by a software conglomerate, and not optimised for a future acquisition. It is built by people who use PDF tools regularly and were frustrated enough with the existing options to build something better.
